My Life Changed as I Knew these Truths

My Christian walk has been a journey worth taking. It’s not been easy. There were times when I’ve felt like I could not take another step but in all, God has been faithful. And it continues…There are many issues that you will face as a Christian man and they may cause you to reconsider your decisions. I am here to comfort you and let you know that whatever has come your way is molly temporal and soon you will rejoice for the success.
Allow me to share with you truths God has used to prepare me, prune me and preserve me up to this moment in my walk with Jesus.

Truth 1: God Loves Me and Cares about Every Detail of My Life

God showed his love for me by sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross. By bringing me to Jesus, God has reconciled me to himself. I’m his child. He knew me before I was born and every day of my life was recorded in his book. He cares about every detail of my life.Truth 2: All I need is to have God on My Side
I have came to understand that when God is with me, then victory is sure. With God on my side, I can do all things he has called me to do. With God on my side I find favour before him and before men. With God on my side I will not be afraid, I will not be discouraged. With him on my side I am strong and courageous.
Truth 3: Nothing is Impossible with God
I’m convinced that there is nothing impossible with God. He can stop the sun, part the seas, raise the dead, heal diseases, shut the mouth of lions among others. He is the same God yesterday and today and forever. What God can do, no man do! If my father is able to do all things, whom or what shall I fear?
Truth 4: My Greatest Duty is to Love God and People
I’ve learnt that the greatest commandment is to love God with all my heart, with all my soul, with my entire mind and with all my strength. To love God is to obey his commands. And King Solomon adds his voice saying, “Here is my final conclusion, Fear God and obey his commandments, for this is everyone’s duty. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing whether good or bad.”
The second is equally important, to love my neighbour as I love myself. The best way to love my neighbour is to serve him, live with him in harmony and stick closer to him than a brother.
Truth 5: I’m Unique, Special and on Earth for a Purpose
God made me special, unique and irreplaceable. I do not have to be like or behave like someone else. I’m an original and should live like one. It also helps to remember that I’m here on earth for a purpose. I was not an accident. God knew exactly which generation would need my talents, abilities and gifts. And my prayer is to accomplish God’s purpose in my generation like David did.
Truth 6: Hard Times are meant to Make Me Complete, Perfect, Lacking Nothing
I once felt that God did not love me as much as he loved others when I went through hard times and it seemed and felt like he had forgotten me. I almost gave up. But that was a lie. He loves me. He had not forgotten me. He allows hard times to come into my life to discipline me and make me a better person. His desire is that my endurance may grow for after it has grown I will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
Before he disciplined I went astray but now I obey his word. His discipline is good for me, though painful, so that I might share in his holiness. After I have been trained by discipline, there will be a peaceful harvest of right living.
And I love God’s assurance when he says that all things will work out for my good because I love him and he has called me according to his purposes.
Truth 7: To succeed and Prosper I Need God’s Word in My Heart, on My Lips and in My ActionsGod’s word and promises are true. Each time he sends forth his word, it does not return to him empty, he follows it up to accomplish it. He is not a man that she should lie. He does everything he promises to do. His Word gives me life, shows me the way, and renews my mind. When I obey his Word, I’m like a man who builds his house on a rock, when the rains, winds and storms come, my house will be left standing.
