Men must care for others

We all have a responsibility towards our fellow men. We are called to be our brothers’ keeper but many men avoid confrontation. Some fear being disliked and rejected. Others are afraid confrontation will make things worse. One has to care and confront positively. As much as you can, do it with respect and with the other person’s best interests at heart. Each time you build up people and identify their problems, you give them an opportunity to grow.

Men who care take a long-term approach and are greatly touched by people in their physical, social, spiritual, emotional needs, etc. You cannot miss one aspect that you can meet of the needs of people around you.

Men who care take responsibilities of their decisions. Be man enough to own up on the matter in your hands. We have many single mothers who are suffering in our nation because the men ran away from their responsibilities and never took care.

Men who care can relieve much hurts in their families and society. Sometimes it takes so little that can change the lives of those around us. We can easily relieve burdens and pains if we cared.

Men who care live as servants. They live by example more than just speech. They are willing to go an extra kilometer to make the lives of those around them better.

Men who care preach servant-hood.  There can be no greater example of servant-hood than Jesus Christ.  He was someone who could have expected everyone to serve Him.  However he continually offered himself as the servant of all.

Men who care reward those around them. They put others first and applaud those who go out of their way to put others needs before their own.

Men who care believe in people and in their potential and allow people to exploit their potential rather than them exploiting the people.

Men who care put other’s needs before their own and go out of their way to meet those needs, even if, it is  not very attractive to the world.  Society encourages others to worry about themselves.
Some of my greatest heroes are men who chose the path of repentance and discipline and cleaned up their messes. They sought to heal the places where they had caused hurt, and in the process, they became people of honor, humility, courage, and love.
The world offers men the opportunity to impact the world positively or negatively. We are here for a very short spell in our lives and we can impact those around us by caring for them in one way or the other.
Desire to be a part of something that blesses others. I encourage you to make the most powerful choice any of us can make. CARE
